…after my year at The Wine Bottega.
Last week, a fortunate few gathered at Vinoteca di Monica to share a warm meal with two iconic winemakers. Paolo Verdi
of Bruno Verdi and Gian Maria Vercesi of Vercesi del Castelazzo. I still have a buzz from the energy in that little dining room.
Matteo said it best: It’s one thing to enjoy a knockout glass of wine, it’s another to know the story behind it. Come face to face with the winemaker and you’ll never look at that bottle the same way again. And if you thought it tasted good before, well…
It’s hard to believe I’ve been working at The Wine Bottega for a year already. At the same time I can’t imagine life before this enchanted little place and all of the quirky and charismatic people that make it what it is. I only work about three hours a week but those three measly hours continue to make a colossal impact on my quality of life.
Kerri, Matt and Mike have rocked my little world. They’ve taught me that business and pleasure aren’t mutually exclusive. They’ve worked hard to find their passion and worked even harder to share it with every single person that walks in the store.
I fall a little more in love with The Wine Bottega each Friday. Don’t you?!

Great video Stephanie!!! Wonderful quotes! I overheard you on the street before hand saying you were excited. Do it match your expections? Methinks it did! Of course, it would be even better to edit me out of the video….LOL!!! Cheers!!!
